This Wednesday, April 7, Lanús will visit Mirassol of Brazil for the first match of Group G of the Copa Libertadores, aiming to start their campaign in the most important club tournament in America on the right foot.
The match, scheduled for 19:00, will take place at the José Maria de Campos Maia Stadium and will be covered live by the Agencia Noticias Argentina. It can be watched on Fox Sports and Disney+ Premium.
The referee will be Colombian Jhon Ospina, who will be assisted from the VAR by his compatriot Nicolás Gallo.
"Granate" arrives at the start of this Copa Libertadores group stage with maximum enthusiasm, as they come from winning the 2025 Copa Sudamericana and the 2026 Recopa, defeating the all-powerful Flamengo in the latter with a historic triumph at the mythical Maracanã.
Lanús's best performance in the Copa Libertadores was in 2017, when they fell in the final against Gremio of Brazil.
Mirassol, for its part, was one of the big surprises in the Brasileirão 2025, where it finished fourth to achieve a historic qualification for the most important club tournament in America.
